The Great thinker and the national poet of our beloved Pakistan, IQBAL, also faced disputation on writing his renowed poem "SHIKWA". HE was declared to be a non-beliver by many religious scholars (ULA'MA) of sub-continent as they released a judicial decree against him. Many couplets of SHIKWA were controverted and arguments were raised.Afterwards, when JAWAB-E-SHIKWA was published all critics were kept quite, some of the ula'ma of the city also termed him as "BEARD-LESS SAINT". The secular segments of the society still remained objectiver of his inspiring poetry, butt Allama's poetry is Purely meant for the revival of MUSLIM UMMAH.

He was born in November 9,1877 in Sialkot.He earned his degree in philosophy from the University of Cambridge, qualified as a barrister in London, and received a doctorate from the University of Munich. His thesis, The Development of Metaphysics in Persia, revealed some aspects of Islamic mysticism formerly unknown in Europe.
