Habib Jalib was a outspoken & rebellious  poet. Throughout his life, he remained a strange critic of the dictatorship and oppression of the masses. As one of his most known poem reflects:

IN CHORON K SARDARON SE, INSAF K PEHREY DARON SE, MAI BAAGHI HUN, MAI BAAGHI HUN.....!

In the later stages of his age, his Revolutionary poetry was "controlled" to some extent by so-called democritic governments....
